David Packard Company is a CNC Machine & Laser Engraving Shop founded in 1986 by David Packard. Our machine shop currently produces close tolerance precision parts for the communications, electronics,optical, fiberoptic and myriad other industries. We offer complete support including laser engraving and marking and small unit assembly services. Our quality assurance procedures are tailored to each customer’s individual needs. |

Laser Engraving & Marking
We are capable of handling virtually any material with our Nd:YAG laser. We are able to provide a wide range of permanent markings from a light surface marking to deep engraving. Due to the nature of laser technology, the process is without the environmental hazards of chemical etching, the lack of permanence associated with paint or inking processes and the physical damage common with mechanical processes. |
- Deep Engraving - For some applications, lettering which will stand up to years of exposure in harsh environments is required. Our deep engraving capabilities, in materials ranging from soft aluminum to tough anti-corrosive stainless steels, is the solution. Serialization is all part of our single, competitive price. Development charges are waived for repeat and production runs!

- Marking - Other applications require a light marking on an irregular or coated surface. No problem! We have the capability of handling many popular CAD and graphics file formats, including DXF, BMP, GIF, JPEG, and many more. We also can scan, reproduce, or develop artwork and logos. At affordable rates with fast turnaround!

We are housed in a new air-conditioned 10,000 square foot facility in Oxford, MA. In addition to production work, David Packard Company has a skilled staff of degreed engineers and highly trained technicians to provide excellent technical support to our customers, ranging from prototype production to solutions for design, manufacturing, and assembly.

| Light Guide Adapters - The David Packard Company, Inc. is pleased to offer a full line of fiber optic light guide adapters for your medical applications. We are currently an OEM supplier to many light guide manufacturers, and now offer them direct to you. We can satisfy your requirements from our own long line of standard fittings or fabricate them to your design, using the best raw materials available. We can also laser mark them with your logo and part numbers, on site. |
